The 2025 Buraidah Dates Carnival is one of the flagship events of the “Our Dates Seasons” initiative. It was held from August 1 to October 31, 2025, during which the International Dates Route was launched to connect the Buraidah Carnival to global markets, marking the first international route linking the Capital of Dates to the Silk Road, endorsed by His Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Al-Qassim Region.

The carnival offered an exceptional 90-day experience, bringing together farmers, exhibitors, and visitors from around the world, reflecting the prominence of Saudi dates both locally and internationally. Its accompanying cultural and recreational activities exceeded 30 events, providing a rich and engaging experience for visitors.

More than 77 governmental, private, and non-profit entities participated in an integrated effort to enhance the palm and dates sector. The carnival featured over 100 varieties of Saudi dates and attracted a wide international audience, including more than 24 ambassadors, ministers, and representatives from various countries.

The event contributed to creating over 4,300 job opportunities for Saudi youth and developing their skills. Globally, the carnival strengthened the position of Saudi dates by exporting them to more than 100 countries, underscoring their excellence in international markets.
