The Council of Ministers issued a decision to transfer the National Center for Palms and Dates from an entity affiliated with the Council of Saudi Chambers to a center organizationally linked to His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, along with the approval of new organizational arrangements aimed at enhancing the center’s role in developing the palm and dates sector in the Kingdom. 

The decision also stipulates the transfer of all programs and initiatives from the former ministry-affiliated Center for Palms and Dates to the National Center, and empowers the Board of Directors to exercise its authorities in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and the Non-Oil Revenue Development Center until the issuance of the regulations governing service fees.
