Saudi Dates Trademark Fee: SAR 10,000 (exclusive of VAT and testing fees)
Testing fees vary depending on the product being registered, and may include:
Pesticide Residue Test: SAR 595
Microbiological Test: SAR 280
Sample Collection (per location): (Salmonella, Yeast and Molds, Total Coliform, E.coli): SAR 650.
Total Testing Fee: SAR 1,525.
Value Added Tax (15%): SAR 229
Grand Total: SAR 1,754
The applicant will be granted a corrective period to comply with the trademark requirements and may repeat the laboratory testing for a fee.
