This service allows farmers to join the Contract Farming Program, launched as part of the Agricultural Association Empowerment Initiative. The program seeks to formalize the relationship between farmers and agricultural associations through pre-agreed contracts that specify the crop type, quantity, quality, price, and delivery timelines. The goal is to enhance food security, secure a stable income for farmers, reduce agricultural risks, and support more effective planning, production, and investment across the agricultural sector.

If a farmer receives an invitation to contract with an agricultural association, they can follow these steps: 

  1. Click the "Access Service" button. 
  2. Select Account Type: Individual. 
  3. Click Log in to access the Muzare Portal. 
  4. If you are already registered in the Muzare Portal, you will be automatically directed to the Farmer page to accept or decline the invitation. 
  5. If not, you will be redirected to the Namaa Platform to complete the login process. 
  6. After logging in, please review the invitation and select either accept or decline.

Contract Farming is an agricultural program used to establish agreements between date palm farmers and agricultural associations, outlining the terms and conditions for purchasing dates. These contracts ensure that farmers commit to producing specific quantities of dates with agreed-upon quality standards, while agricultural associations commit to providing technical support as part of the annual date-procurement program led by the National Centre for Palms & Dates.

To support the growth of the agricultural sector, foster collaboration between farmers and agricultural associations, and promote sound agricultural practices.

The association must hold a valid license, operate under the supervision of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, and have qualified agricultural advisors or supervisors capable of managing and supporting contracted farms.
