  • General Application Requirements: 
  1. Applications must be submitted in Arabic or English only. 
  2. Submitted projects must not have previously participated in any national or international competitions. 
  3. Winners must wait at least three years from the date of their last win before applying again. 
  4. Each applicant can apply for only one category. 
  5. All application materials are securely stored at the Secretariat of the International Award of the National Centre for Palms & Dates and will not be returned to applicants, regardless of the outcome. 
  6. Applicants must specify the framework under which their projects were implemented, including potential partners, contributors, and source(s) of funding. 
  • Eligibility Requirements for the "Best Scientific Research" Award: 
  1. Applicants must submit a formal declaration - on their institution’s letterhead - confirming that the results or innovations presented to the Scientific Committee are entirely their own work. 
  2. Each applicant may submit one to three scientific papers related to the proposed project.

  1. Completed application form (in Arabic or English only). 
  2. A statement outlining the framework under which the work was conducted, including: 
  • - Potential partners and key stakeholders 
  • - Source(s) of funding 
  1. A written declaration that the submitted projects have not previously participated in any national or international competitions. 
  2. Identification documents (for individuals), and commercial license/registration (for organizations). 
  3. CV(s) of the applicant or team.

  • Additional documents required for the "Best Scientific Research" Award: 
  1. A formal declaration, on the applicant’s institution letterhead, confirming that the results or innovations submitted to the Scientific Committee are entirely the applicant’s own work. 
  2. 1 - 3 scientific papers related to the proposed project. 

# All submitted materials and attachments will be kept at the Secretariat of the Award and will not be returned to applicants, regardless of the outcome. 

The award is organized by the National Centre for Palms & Dates.

The award is open to individuals and organizations from all countries worldwide.

The Award comprises three main categories: Best Scientific Research, Excellence in Innovative Palm Technologies, and New Product Development.
