This program represents a strategic step to support Saudi Arabia’s position as the world’s largest exporter of dates, aligning with the goals of the National Center for Palms and Dates. It aims to enhance the efficiency of selected farms to produce dates that meet international market requirements by promoting agricultural standards and improving the market value of Saudi dates. The program focuses on compliance with the technical specifications of target countries and ensuring product safety through precise systems to monitor pesticide residues within allowable limits.

Program Objectives

  • Increase the percentage of Saudi dates that comply with global market requirements.
  • Contribute to raising the proportion of contract farming by linking Saudi exporters with farms registered in the program.
  • Enhance the economic return for farms registered in the program.

Program Requirements

 

  • The farm must have an agricultural registration issued by the Agricultural Census Program.
  • Commitment to attend a workshop for farm owners, tenants, and agricultural workers.

This service allows farmers to submit their applications to join the Farm Qualification Program for Global Markets, which aims to raise the quality and agricultural standards of farms in line with international market requirements. Through the program, farmers are supported to meet high export standards and enhance their opportunities to confidently and competitively enter global markets.

Farmers
