The National Centre for Palms & Dates held its 42nd Board of Directors meeting in Riyadh, chaired by H.E. Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and Chairman of the Board. 

During the meeting, H.E. the Minister praised the Board’s efforts and achievements in supporting the Kingdom’s palm and date sector and improving production efficiency. 

The meeting reviewed the Center’s Q2 2023 initiatives, including efforts to increase Saudi date exports, improve agricultural and industrial practices, and support the growth of date-processing industries. H.E. Al-Fadley emphasized the importance of continuing to implement high-quality initiatives that enhance the growth and sustainability of the Kingdom’s palm and date sector.
