The National Center for Palm and Dates (NCPD) held a meeting with the Al-Ahsa Chamber, chaired by Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Sahlawi, CEO of the Center, and attended by the Chamber’s Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Al-Afaleq, Secretary-General Dr. Ibrahim Al-Sheikh Mubarak, and members of the Agricultural Committee.

During the meeting, both parties discussed opportunities to enhance and develop the Al-Ahsa Saram Season and support entrepreneurial initiatives and projects related to the palm and dates sector, aiming to increase production efficiency and strengthen the presence of Saudi dates locally and internationally.

The Center also reviewed its key programs and strategic initiatives, including the Date Purchase Program aimed at supporting farmers, the Dates Exporters Empowerment Program to access global markets, as well as its efforts to enhance value chains and improve product quality.
