His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Abdullah Al-Turki, Governor of Diriyah, received today in his office the CEO of the National Center for Palms and Dates, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Sahlawi, along with his accompanying delegation. 

During the meeting, His Highness praised the Center’s efforts in developing the palm and dates sector, its role in enhancing production quality, and its contribution to creating new opportunities for marketing Diriyah’s dates both locally and internationally. 

The meeting also discussed avenues of cooperation between Diriyah Governorate and the Center, aiming to support palm farmers, maximize the value of palm and date products, and activate programs and initiatives that enhance the economic value and develop the value chain of this vital sector. 

Dr. Al-Sahlawi expressed his appreciation to the Governor of Diriyah for his commitment to the development of the palm sector, affirming the Center's keenness to strengthen partnerships with government entities in the governorate to support the growth and development of the palm industry.
