Prince Fahd bin Saad bin Abdullah Turki, Governor of Diriyah, received Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Sahlawi, CEO of the National Centre for Palms & Dates, along with his accompanying delegation, at his office today. 

During the meeting, the Governor praised the Centre’s efforts in developing the palms and dates sector, enhancing product quality, and opening new avenues to promote Diriyah’s dates locally and internationally. 

The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration between Diriyah Governorate and the Centre, supporting palm farmers, maximizing the value of palm and date products, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance economic impact and advance the sector’s value chain. 

Dr. Al-Sahlawi thanked the Governor for his commitment to advancing the palms and dates sector, emphasizing the Centre’s dedication to strengthening partnerships with local authorities to foster sustainable growth in the sector.
