A committee to inventory the challenges facing the Kingdom’s date manufacturers and exporters

The workshop commenced with an introductory presentation about the National Center for Palm and Dates, followed by sharing rich experiences in cultivating palm varieties, meeting the requirements of both local and international markets. Additionally, it featured experiences of exporting to global markets by leading international exporters. This was followed by success stories of some cooperative societies in the sector and a presentation of various advanced processed date products. The workshop concluded with discussions on the outcomes and recommendations.
